Calling all teachers interested in entrepreneurial education – join the EntreCompEdu CPD programme!
EntreCompEdu is an Erasmus+ project about supporting teachers to design and deliver entrepreneurial education – with a 93% approval rating from teachers in the first pilot. Now entering the Phase 2 pilot, we are delighted to announce the launch of the free online continuing professional development (CPD) course. Teachers can sign up now and take the course starting October 15th.
Teachers from schools or vocational education can participate in a 30-hour online learning course, designed for those working with students aged 9-19 years. The free course is available online and accessible around the world here. Expert facilitators are online to individually support each teacher through the learning journey, as they discover how to adapt and innovate their work with learners.
Throughout the last school year, the programme was pilot-tested by a group of teachers from Belgium, Finland, Italy, Macedonia, Spain, and Wales, with the course available in Flemish, Finnish, Italian, Macedonian, Spanish, Welsh as well as English. All teachers are urged to use the language they feel most comfortable in. Following the first pilot test, which received a 93% approval rating from participants, the programme has been revised and is now ready to launch.
Those teachers who follow the programme will work through the LoopMe platform to explore the how and what of entrepreneurial education for their teaching. This will begin by using the online self-assessment tool developed in Finland to gauge each teacher’s current level of experience. The course then goes on to develop understanding and skills across the key pillars of planning, teaching, assessing, and professional reflection on entrepreneurial education. Teachers will follow a personal and highly reflective journey, supported by videos, interactive exercises, practical tasks, and feedback from their EntreCompEdu expert facilitator. The final stage sees teachers share their learning design ideas and practices to the EntreCompEdu Practice Map for other teachers to use around the world.
Once the 30-hour course is completed, graduates will receive a digital certificate to celebrate their progress and journey. Register for your place via the EntreCompEdu online registration form. We encourage you to share this information with your colleagues and peers who are interested in entrepreneurial education.
